Rabbi Holly Levin Cohn

Rabbi Holly Levin Cohn was ordained at Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion in June 2000. For 18 years she served congregations large and small in many different geographic areas. In March 2025 she will receive her honorary Doctor of Divinity for 25 years in the rabbinate.

Since 2017 she has been the Adjunct Rabbi of Congregation Beth El Binah, in Dallas, TX. In January of 2025 she was named as their Spiritual Leader. Not only does she lead worship, but she also facilitates a Women’s Shabbat Gathering, teaches adult education, and engages in pastoral care. 

She is the Hospice Chaplain and Bereavement Coordinator/Grief Counsellor for The Legacy at Home, which is part of The Legacy Senior Communities, a Continuum of Care Living Community with campuses in Plano and Dallas, TX. Her training for Chaplaincy began in 2019 with a residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, followed by a fellowship at Methodist Richardson Medical Center.

Her undergraduate degree is in Advertising and Organizational Communications from the University of Texas at Austin.  In May 2016 she earned a Master of Arts in Jewish Communal Service and Nonprofit Management from Gratz College in Philadelphia. And she also has a certificate from Yeshiva University in Geriatrics and Palliative Care.
